a) To mediate and attempt to solve grievances between students, and the members, organs, agents or services of the university.

b) To seek adequate solutions for the safeguarding of student rights and the betterment of all administrative action, through co-operation with the relevant organs, agents or services.

c) To present any necessary recommendations to the relevant organs, agents or services regarding the correction of illegal procedures or any injustices that may have risen.

d) To present proposals regarding the regulations of the University and its organic units whatever their nature may be, to the relevant organs, agents or services.

e) To recommend to the rector or to the various unit directors that any enquiries considered necessary be carried out.

f) To express opinions on any Ombudsperson-related activities.

The Ombudsperson may only be summoned after all possible means of resolution have legally expired in accordance with the procedure of the relevant University organs or organic units.
